2.1 Personal Information
- Account Information: Name, email address, age, gender for account creation
- Profile Information: Profile photos, preferences, goals you choose to share
2.2 Health & Fitness Data
- Health Connect Data: Steps, sleep patterns, distance, active calories burned, and total calories burned (requires your permission via Health Connect)
- Nutrition Data: Meal logs, calorie tracking, nutritional preferences (manually entered by you)
- Fitness Goals: Personal fitness objectives and progress (you set these in the app)
Privacy Protection: Health data is stored securely, encrypted, and never shared with third parties for commercial purposes. We only access steps, sleep, distance, active calories burned, and total calories burned from Health Connect.
2.3 Financial Tracking Data (Optional)
- Budget Information: Income goals, expense tracking (locally stored)
- Financial Goals: Savings targets, financial milestones you set
- Receipt Scanning: Images you upload for expense tracking
Privacy Protection: Financial data is encrypted and stored securely. We do not share your financial information with third parties.
2.4 Location Data
- Precise Location (When Permitted): Used for the following features:
- Sharing your location with nearby friends you choose
- Personalized notifications based on nearby places
- Discovering places and events around you
- Background Location (Optional): Only if you enable continuous location-sharing features
Privacy Protection: Location data is only shared with friends you explicitly select. Your location is not sold to third parties or used for advertising.
2.5 Camera & Media
- Photos: Profile pictures, meal photos for nutrition tracking, fitness progress photos
- Camera Access: Fashion analysis, meal scanning, receipt scanning
Privacy Protection: Photos are stored securely and are only used for your personal tracking. We do not share your photos with third parties.
2.6 Voice & Audio Data
- Voice Recordings: AI voice conversations (processed by ElevenLabs and OpenAI)
- Audio Processing: Voice commands for hands-free app control
Privacy Protection: Voice data is processed securely and not stored permanently. Third-party AI providers (ElevenLabs, OpenAI) process audio according to their privacy policies. We do not permit training of third-party models on your data.
2.7 Usage & Technical Data
- App Usage: Features you use, screens you visit, time spent in app
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version
- Crash Reports: Error logs to fix bugs and improve stability

- How It's Used: Conversations are used to offer technical support, resolve issues, answer questions, and understand how we can enhance the application
- Privacy Protection: All conversations are confidential and never sold to third parties
- Data Handling: Chat data is used exclusively for providing support and improving your app experience, following strict privacy protocols
4.2 Synthetic Persona Interactions (Optional)
- What It Is: AI-generated social content and voice calls labeled as "Artificial Personas" for entertainment and engagement
- How It's Used: Your interactions help improve AI conversation quality
- Clearly Labeled: All artificial personas are marked as "Artificial Persona" and include disclaimers: "AI-powered for entertainment & informational purposes."
- Your Choice: You can choose not to interact with these features
4.3 Third-Party Research Tools (If Deployed)
Important: If we ever deploy third-party research tools in the app, they will be:
- Clearly indicated as third-party features
- Labeled with the vendor name
- Completely opt-in (you must choose to participate)
- Explained with details about how your data may be used
Current Status: No third-party research tools are currently deployed in Gains.

- What Gets Deleted: All your personal health, wealth, lifestyle data, photos, and recordings
- What May Be Retained: Anonymized analytics data (no personally identifiable information), legal records required by law
- Deletion Timeline: Most data deleted immediately; some systems may take up to 30 days for complete removal
7.4 Control Permissions
- Manage location, camera, microphone, and health data permissions in device settings
- Revoke permissions at any time (some features may not work without required permissions)
7.5 Opt-Out of Optional Features
- Choose not to interact with Synthetic Persona features
- Disable notifications in app settings
- Manage AI feature preferences in settings

- What They Are: Artificial Personas are AI-generated characters designed for entertainment and engagement
- Clear Labeling: All posts and interactions from Artificial Personas are clearly marked with "Artificial Persona" labels
- Purpose: Entertainment and informational purposes only - not real people
- Disclaimers: When you interact with synthetic personas, you'll see: "AI-powered for entertainment & informational purposes. Not a substitute for professional medical advice."
- Your Control: You can choose to engage or ignore these features
11. Children's Privacy
Gains is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. If you believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us at privacy@gainsinsights.com.
12. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection laws.
